They often recommend medical therapy before proceeding to hair transplant surgery and pre-treat hair transplant patients before surgery. TrichoTest™
Developed by trichology experts (hair and scalp specialists), TrichoTest (made by Fagron Genomics) uses in-depth analysis of your DNA to take the guesswork out of treating hair loss. The process is simple:
- We collect a saliva sample using a simple cheek swab and have you complete a medical history and lifestyle questionnaire.
- We send your sample and questionnaire to the Fagron Genomics US lab.
- The lab performs a detailed analysis and, within about 5 to 7 business days, sends us a detailed report identifying specific genetic markers associated with different types of hair loss, such as androgenetic alopecia (pattern baldness), alopecia areata, and other forms of hair thinning. The report also lists the treatments you are most likely to respond to and not respond to. It also identifies risk factors proactively before significant hair thinning or balding occurs.

Formula 82F® & Formula 82M® Topical Hair Loss Medication
