Hair Restoration Options at the Quatela Center
This hair transplant technique involves harvesting individual follicular units and then transplanting them to thinning areas. FUE is a good option for patients who want to wear their hair very short.
This hair transplant technique, sometimes called the “strip method”, involves removing a small strip of the hair-bearing scalp from the back of the head. The strip is then separated into microfollicular unit grafts which are carefully transplanted into thinning areas of the scalp.
This procedure involves surgical removal of part or all of the balding area on the top of the scalp leaving a thin scar on the top of the head.
This procedure can reduce an overly large forehead or correct a receding hairline.
This technique involves replacing or filling in the eyebrows by transplanting hair from another area of the body, such as the back of the head.
PRP injections use the regenerative properties of the patient’s own blood to stimulate hair follicles to encourage new hair growth.
We correct unsatisfactory hair transplant results using modern techniques to improve the overall appearance of the hair restoration.
We offer several medications and topical products that may be used instead of, or in addition to, hair transplant surgery. Options include platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments and Rogaine®.
We offer medications and supplements that may be used instead of, or in addition to, hair transplant surgery. Options include Rogaine® and Nutrafol®.

What’s the Best Hair Restoration Technique?
Innovations in hair transplant surgery such as follicular unit transplantation (FUT) and follicular unit extraction (FUE) produce excellent results when performed by a plastic surgeon with exceptional credentials and experience such as those at the Quatela Center. We also offer nonsurgical approaches to hair restoration for people who might not be interested in or do not qualify for hair transplant surgery. Our experienced surgeons recommend the best approach for each patient’s situation based on their needs, preferences, and cosmetic goals.
